St Benedict’s As another wonderful term draws to a close, we are proud to reflect on the many exciting opportunities our children have enjoyed. It has been a term filled with learning, faith, friendship and personal growth, with our school values shining through in everything we have achieved together. One of the highlights of the term was welcoming the Living Eggs programme into school. Watching the chicks hatch from their eggs gave the children a unique opportunity to observe the life cycle firsthand. The experience sparked curiosity, encouraged thoughtful questioning and deepened their understanding of how living things grow and develop. It was a memorable learning experience that inspired awe and wonder while helping children appreciate the importance of caring for all living things. Our Chaplaincy and Wellbeing Team has worked incredibly hard to create a beautiful new sensory prayer garden. Created in honour of St Francis of Assisi during his 2026 Jubilee Year, each garden bed has been carefully designed to represent one of the five senses, encouraging children to experience prayer and reflection in a peaceful outdoor space. We are extremely grateful to our local community, parents and businesses for their generous donations, which have helped bring this vision to life. The garden reflects our school value of Stewardship and was officially opened by Fr Martin on 9th July during the Chaplaincy Team's 'Switch Off Day'. The Chaplaincy Team is also delighted to have completed every action required for the LiveSimply Award. As part of this work, they led a whole-school 'Switch Off Day', encouraging everyone to
